Perhaps next level villain period.

Such a shame he died so young, and only was able to portray that character in a single film. Everything about his performance is perfection in that movie IMO.

I assume that is sarcasm? Maybe this topic has been beaten to death but I have been watching old Batman clips on youtube and felt compelled to share.

I usually think actors are just being pretentious Hollywood tools when they talk about "losing themselves in a character" and the emotional toll it can take on a person.

Ledger's Joker is one of the few times I thought that maybe they're being a lot more truthful than I might think. That role was just insane and definitely appears to have done a number on him.

I just want to know what the trilogy would've been like had he not died.

Batman Begins and TDK are both exceptionally fantastic movies and then TDKR happened.

And Jared Leto followed it up with one of the worst character portrayals in movie history.

TDKR has some moments that you just wonder why they were included at all, and some that just felt they weren't thought out. That said, I still think it does a solid job of ending the GOAT comic book movie franchise.

He also go shafted.

There are some scenes that make his Joker better that never saw the light of say. Like the tollbooth scene for instance.

But he was fricking terrible.

Journal about becoming the joker by heath

quote:

I sat around in a hotel room in London for about a month, locked myself away, formed a little diary and experimented with voices — it was important to try to find a somewhat iconic voice and laugh. I ended up landing more in the realm of a psychopath — someone with very little to no conscience towards his acts.

Best acting performance of all time. Heath Ledger overall really was a great great actor. Even almost 10 years later, it's upsetting that he's gone and we can't see his greatness anymore/

Rumor was that, in the third movie, Batman would actually go to Arkham to find out from the Joker how to defeat someone like Bane.
