I thought the show was relatively boring in season 1 but I stuck with it because I love Lizzy Caplain and she was naked a lot in it and it came on after Ray Donovan. Still, I thought the story was weak and I was just in it for the eye candy.

Since then, the show has really blossomed and the acting has been spectacular. Michael Sheen's been incredible. Granted, some of the writing gets a little weird and they get sidetracked into some silly storylines (mostly involving Bill's wife), but the acting and character development is some of the best I've ever seen.

I think the turning point may have been "The Fight" episode from last season and the show has really taken off into something special. There used to be some level of buzz about it on this board but it's been non-existent this season. So, has this board given up?

The wife and I are still in and still enjoying it. Have to watch Sunday's episode, probably get to it tonight.

This season has taken some getting used to with Virginia's kids being older. I saw an interview with the cast or something and they said Dr. Masters would lighten up this year. Hasn't happened yet, still a dick. Hell, his son even hates him.

They are shitty people, but they are played so brilliantly, especially Masters. And even though he's a terrible person, he's strangely relatable in some of his motives and, unlike some other shows with shitty people, he shows these flashes of absolute brilliance like that speech in the last episode that just you've just gotta respect. That's mostly attributable to the great acting performance by Michael Sheen.

i used to sit across from her in 7th grade history class, her and a friend came over to my house once after school. she was kind of a tomboy back then, had no idea she would turn out like this. when i saw her topless on true blood i was like....
