Has there ever been a worse concept for a movie than "The Emoji Movie"?

LINK

I mean, this has to be the bottom. It makes Jack and Jill as a concept look like 2001: A Space Odyssey. It is so depressing as a concept and is pretty much saying humanity at large "I surrender" to machines. I'm trying to think of a worse concept and I would like to say literal talking shite is worse, but Mr Hanky is way more creative and funny than this bullshite.

How could it possibly get any lower than this? They rip off Wreck It Ralph, The Lego Movie, and Inside Out and openly celebrate the worst fricking thing that has happened to humanity in some time. Take a look at WALL-E which looks at this concept with utter horror: LINK

But instead some Hollywood a-hole decided to celebrate basically the end of civil society and make a movie out of it as a comedy. This is the worst ever, and I think anyone involved in this movie should be shamed. Sir Patrick Stewart, you know the guy who is Captain Picard and Professor X, is the shite Emoji. Sorry, but I expect more from him and audiences should tell him to frick off for such a sell-out.

This is the worst ever, and if you're a parent, no matter how much your kids begs, do not take them to see this movie nor rent it for them. Really give them The Human Centipede over this shite.

Lmao, no.

I have never turned a trailer off before this movie. I'm serious when I say this too, I've watched hundreds of trailers and sat through every single one of them up until this one. What a colossal piece of shite.

If I ran into Patrick Stewart, I would say this to him: I love you for Picard and Xavier, but frick you for selling out on being the shite Emoji.

Flappy Birds was a pretty stupid concept. Didn't make much money either. Rubber was another dumb idea.

I mean this with all sincerity: frick you. Do not give this film a dime. If you do, you're giving the worst movie of all time money. Show your kids WALL-E instead.

You think that using emojis is surrendering to machines? Lol, come on dude, dial it down.

That said, entertaining rant. 6/10. Would read more.

That at least had a rational concept: birds hating pigs. Who has ever embodied characters onto Emojis? I'd venture to say save for the makers of this piece of shite, no one has. Emojis are only your own emotions and you don't look at them as characters with their own feelings. Not even a 3 year old would think it. This makes it the worst film of all time.

Umm, look at basically the first fricking frame where every kid is looking down at their phone instead of directly conversing with each other. That's horrifying and something WALL-E nearly 10 fricking years ago warned us about. How is that first frame any different from the people in WALL-E talking on their chairs next to each other oblivious to the world around them as a whole? Instead it's celebrated here and seen as a good thing that needs to be preserved.

I hope your kid is smarter than you and will tell you "frick you Dad" at the end of this. Should be a nice Father's Day gift.

It might even be a funny movie. A diamond in the rough. A cult classic.

I'll let you know.

I have no interest in seeing this. The preview didn't appeal to me.

I think it has potential. Can't be any worse than Sausage Party or Pixels. Good god, Lemon, those movies sucked.

I haven't even seen the trailer. I don't want any spoilers so I'm avoiding it.
