I'd find that hard to believe that it isn't. I doubt anyone could watch a Season 3 episode with near as much enjoyment as someone who has watched every episode. Half of the jokes are based on running gags.

I just did a rewatch, and it's so funny how much set up they do for jokes later. That show is amazing. Hope the new season delivers whenever it is done.

they even set up the woodblock thing in season 3 as well as GOB's bees

Simpson's has a ton, and have been going on for decades.
Seinfeld had a ton.

the line about tobias "a man so similar to my own type" both because he's gay and he's black. it's just genius. There's a lot of word play and some of the gags are so subtle it may take you 3 or 4 times to catch them unless you're really glued in

Maybe my favorite is when they reveal in season 3 that George Micheal has never met Lucile Two. "Who?" "Never met the woman".

Arrested Development has got to be the most. It is the reason that I think the show is so genius.
Unfortunately it makes the show torture to watch with other people. I'm the type who gets annoyed if other people aren't paying attention to something. They might say "I'm listening and following along" or something but I'm like "No! You won't get a joke 15 episodes from now if you aren't paying full attention!"
