"Supermarine"
And It. Is. Amazing. He's probably my favorite modern composer, (although I have enjoyed Rupert Gregson-Williams work recently). The way he incorporates different sounds in his music relative to the films is brilliant (Ex: Clock element in Interstellar, chanting in DKR, and now the subtle airplane propeller sound in this). I can't wait to hear the rest of the soundtrack because, knowing that Dunkirk will only be 1:47 long, if this track is any indication of the movie's pace, it will be breakneck.

I normally like his stuff but only made it through the first two minutes. It sounded like a super-repetitive EDM song with propeller sounds mixed in. I normally like his addition of unconventional elements, like you alluded to, but the propeller was too much. Again this is all from the first two minutes, at which point I gave up.

From the first YouTube comment:
"Dunkirk gonna be so intense I'm bringing my own oxygen tank and ventilator"

I laughed pretty hard at that lol. I really can't wait two more weeks for this to come out. I assume some reviews will be making their way to the web in the next few days or so. I'm really interested to see how Nolan presents his 3 POVs (Sea, Pilot, Land) and then ties them all together. I guess I am a little bummed that the run time is so short, but that just elevates the intensity even more, and Nolan is the best director in the biz in terms of scale. The scenes with the planes will be so awesome in IMAX.

Interstellar will probably always be my favorite thing ever done by Zimmer, but if the rest of the score is like this, holy shite.

I loved Interstellar. It was nothing like he'd ever done before, but still incredible. And yeah. I mean Dunkirk is only 1:47 long. I feel like there will be no time for breaks
