Cutting the cord is about dumping cable or satellite.

You get network TV free regardless of if you subscribe to a provider or not via rabbit ears.

Plus, the bulk of the content on Hulu? Yea, its from the network TV and cable nets that you are pissed at.

This country is filled with morons with terrible taste. Hannibal is too good for NBC and that's why this happened. Only dumbed down garbage can survive on major TV networks.

Not happy about this at all.

I don't see anyone else picking this up without the promise of a Starling storyline, and the quagmire that situation is won't allow such a thing.

This sucks...I have come to the conclusion I don't have the same taste in television as the majority of America. This is why I hate TV, I fall in love with a series only for it to get the ax. Yet, garbage reality TV stays on the air, I don't understand how that happens.

This sucks fricking big time. But from what i just read it may not be all on NBC. This article says they are running into rights issues. Specifically surrounding when to introduce Clarice Starling.

The contracts for the cast expired today. Another blow to the odds for the show being revived. Still, I'm waiting for Comic-Con to come and go without incident before giving up.

I think it's possible this show could evolve to become something like BBC Sherlock, where the team gets together every couple of year to squeeze out a mini-series. It does seem to be a labor of love for them.

Sadly, we have some unfortunate news for Hannibal fans, or Fannibals, as they’re known… According to Variety, Netflix and Amazon will not be picking up Hannibal for Season 4 after it was cancelled by NBC a few short weeks ago. Hannibal creator and showrunner Bryan Fuller announced the news to Fannibals on Twitter (via Variety):

I was beginning to lose interest honestly. Do we really need to put 15 minutes of content in slow motion every single week? After the uniqueness wore off after several episodes, it became quite boring.
