Is 3D a must or nah? Is it well-done? I enjoy it if done well, but if it's cheesy it's annoying as hell.

There's maybe 3 "cheesy" parts of things going at the camera. I thought it was done well enough to ignore it for most of the time. I'm not sure it added much though.

Although 3D is the only way to see it in IMAX.

So I would say: IMAX Available, yes
IMAX not available, it isn't necessary

This. It's worth seeing in Imax.

Thanks guys. It's not available in IMAX around here unfortunately so I'll just go with the regular non-3D.

I found the 3-D to be done very good. Some movies the 3-D get "muddy" or blurred and can even give me a headache sometimes. Everything in GOTG was pretty clear.

Just got back from watching on IMAX. It was really awesome. Definitely suggest if you have the option.
