Just saw the finale, I love that Wu has gone full HAM. That was really a fantastic all around episode. Really glad they gave closure to Juliette bc I thought for a moment they were going to end the season with the helicopter flying off.

I laughed at Wu when they were gathering their weapons for the raid on the house: "Should I still bring the shotgun....just in case?"

Nick and his partner must have the worst arrest record on the Portland PD.

I'm really happy she's dead but that seems like a huge plot hole.

That and how are they going to explain that Kenneth who was arrested by half a dozen police officers, never made it to the station, but instead is Jack the Ripper and murdered in another county.

This past season nearly caused me to stop watching Grimm, but the finale pulled me back in.

I finally got to watch the season finale' last night. Wow, that was some wild stuff!

I have not been a fan of the Juliette as Hexenbeast and Adelind as the new love interest story line. I know a lot of people don't lime Juliette, but even though Bitsy's lazy eye is a bit distracting, I've still always liked her as Nick's girl. Adelind on the other hand, annoys me. She's too whiny and self centered for me. I'm not sure if Juliette is really dead, it's kind of surprising that the writers would get rid of her, but I certainly hope that doesn't mean that Nick and Adelind are now a thing.

I loved the showdown between Nick and the Royal poofter. A lot of times when the main two adversaries finally square off, the fight is evenly matched or the hero is losing, only to barely win through some fluke or last act of desperation. Or, he starts to win, has the villain on the ropes, and then spares him, only to quickly kill him when the villain pulls out a concealed weapon. Not with this fight bubba. Nick pretty much OWNED that dude from the jump, made him pay, and then finished him without hesitation. THAT's how a Grimm handles his business man.

I've never like Trubl's character, but this episode changed my mind. You can tell she has matured as a Grimm, and she's really the savior of the whole gang. Her taking out Juliette was perfect (although like I said, I don't want Jules to die).

Juliette not being on the chopper was a weird plot hole that I can only blame on editing. Also, having Diana kill off the king in the end suggests that the whole thing was a plan from the beginning, probably concocted by the resistance and Nick's mom. I don't think she had her head getting lopped off as one of the steps in that plan. I'm still not completely convinced that she's dead.

Overall, I am worried that the writers have changed and not for the better. Next season will be interesting. Where's does Nick go from here? I hope he gets more back to his original Grimm ways, and goes up against some really bad vessen, some that stretch the show to new levels of scary.

Lastly, Rosalee in hotter than a $3.00 pistol! Would marry!

Did you miss the part when her head was in a box? Pretty sure she won't be coming back from that.

And you are in the minority when it comes to Juliette. Before she was turned into a Hexenbeast, she just seemed uot of place serving no purpose. They tried to make up storylines for her, but it just didn't work. Then when she was turned into a Hexenbeast, she all of a sudden turned evil just because she thought Nick would've love her anymore (at least I guess that is why she did a 180). It was time to write her out, and I'd be pretty upset if they loopholed her back into the show.

On another note, what is the relationship between the royals and the Wesen Council that Rosalee is always in communication with? And have we seen a full blood royal (Capt. Renard isn't full blooded) valge (or whatever you call their change)? I'm starting to wonder if the Royals are even wesen.

I want Nick and Trubl to go on a mission to find the rest of the map keys and find the hidden treasure, battling the remaining royals and vessin counsel along the way.

They definitely give off a more supernatural vibe than monster IMO. I also like that they have kept Nick's super human type powers going ever since he had that run in with the voodoo zombie guy. I have been a grimm fan since it started hopefully they can keep this show going several more seasons

Hell yeah! That would be some awesome shite right there. Make it a cross between Indiana Jones and Van Helsing. Have them travel all around the globe, take out a nest of vampires somewhere in eastern europe, maybe a squatch in the great northwest....

The word is a derivative of "Wogen" which means "to surge".

Late response because I just watched the last few episodes on On Demand.

Juliette. Before she was turned into a Hexenbeast, she just seemed uot of place serving no purpose. They tried to make up storylines for her, but it just didn't work. I wonder whether, in the original concept for the show, her character wasn't in it, but producers/network/bosses/etc. said "well, he's gotta have a girlfriend", so they had to write her in but didn't know what to do with her. I agree with the earlier poster that the only way for the character to be useful long-term would have been as a member of team Grimm. They had two opportunities to do that. They could have had her skill as a veterinarian (since Wesen are basically the beast within) or her new hexenbiest powers (the first and only time the character ever showed any potential) be helpful assets for the team. They failed to do either, instead always resorting to silly relationship problems between her and Nick.

I hope the earlier posts are correct that next season will bring a much darker and more bad-arse Nick. His idiotic vulnerability to Juliette was getting frustrating. Knowing that she had turned evil, how could he be so negligent as to leave the trailer in a spot she knew about and not change the locks in the house allowing her continued access to the house and his computer? If this was just a device to enable the destruction of the trailer and the death of Kelly Burkhart, then it was a bad one that really diminishes the Nick character. And, like other posters above, I'm disappointed they got rid of the trailer at all, so I'm doubly so that they used such a weak plot point to make it happen.

And the keys/map story line? Did they ever know where they were going with that? At this point, I certainly don't.

As for the royals, with the king and at least two of his sons dead (it's two, right?), is there anything left of the royal family other than Sean and Diana? The king also mentioned a queen, but said she was dead, too. Then again, are we sure the king will actually be dead, or will he have some supernatural ability to survive being thrown from the helicopter?

Plot holes/storylines that aren't credible or aren't reasonbly explained:

-Obviously, Juliette not being in the helicopter. I don't think it was just careless editing. They obviously wanted her death scene to be a shocker for us, so they needed us to think she was on the helicopter. They did tip it off a bit with the scene where the king gets killed. While the pilot was cutting his seatbelts and throwing him out, I was thinking, "where was Juliette?".

-Juliette effectively committing suicide. When he was first choking her against the wall, she asked him to kill her, then when he didn't, she attacked him, seemingly to force him to kill her. Why do this when she was supposedly so happy with her new hexenbiest self? The few flashbacks suggested some residual feelings for Nick and maybe a tinge of guilt for helping the royals kill his mother, but enough to essentially kill herself over?

-The royal that Nick killed being A) left to be found murdered after having been publicly arrested and B) used as a Jack suspect even though the surviving witness should not recognize him as her attacker.

-Adalind volunteering to test the suppression potion. Presumably she wanted to help neutralize Juliette because she was scared Juliette would kill her, but after all she went through to get her hexenbiest powers back, that seems like a pretty flimsy motivation, especially to be glossed over so casually. Even if it worked and Juliette drank it, with her own powers suppressed, Adalind would still be vulnerable to Juliette even if hers were suppressed, too.
