As cynical as I've become about movies (especially after watching the Jurassic world trailer) I was shocked how many great movies there are. Not many past the mid 90s

It tells you exactly what the movie is about.

Scream is a great title. I'm not sure if it's a great movie.

a ton of solid choices. some names just resonate so much better than others. like this thread. but my GOAT might be:

Solid choice.

I think it is great as both a slasher film and as a parody of the genre (which is why it is great)

I'm just not sure that it resonates after almost 20 years. Also, its greatness is within a lacking genre mostly populated by b movies that go direct to dvd. I love it, but is it great? I don't know.

Excellent movie, great cast. Watch it if you havent. Not a "happy, feel good" movie.

The title is sort of misleading for the original Back to the Future because they go to the past and back to the present, the future doesn't come until the sequel

marty mcfly spends the entire movie trying to get back to the future

back

implies

from

without knowing anything about the movie, I would guess someone comes to present day from the future and is trying to get back...so I kind of see what you mean, but I think it's a great title
