Only 1 episode is sub 59 minutes
Very good news...especially since I was annoyed at how well over half of the episodes last season were 48-52 minutes.

Last two episodes of the season are 71 and 81 minutes. Yes please.

I agree they all should have been 90 minute episodes

If they had that much content, they would have just made 10 episodes.

Do those include the 20 minute "previously on" segments that basically tell you what is about to happen in the episode?

I do think it's a little strange that one episode is significantly shorter than all the others.

Probably not, but I'd assume they include intro and credits.

That extra length makes a shorter season more palatable. 81 minutes is no joke, that's almost movie length.

True. However, it will be tough to have to wait maybe two years for the final six episodes.

E4 is the 50 minute episode. Probably going to be a little bit of filler since it's the midpoint of the season. Although at this point in the show there should be ZERO filler episodes.

I've read from several of the actors and writers that there is virtually no filler this year. Things happen fast and constantly.

I feel like if they even take an extra half second on a screen cut this board is gonna melt down about filler

So I recently got my wife hooked on GOT. We've been watching 2-3 episodes a night to get her caught up for when season 7 starts. I binged a few years ago and watched regularly after that. But watching this all over has really been fun, because it's been so long since I binged, i had forgotten a lot of the small stuff that becomes major by the current seasons. It's been fun. We finish up season 2 tonight. Battle of Blackwater is next up.

Geez...remembering the thrill at pre-odering ADWD, only to delude myself thinking, "Well, the next wait won't be NEARLY as long."
