Yeah Jaime doesn't make much sense in the show, along with a bunch of other things. I think I'm done complaining about it, just gonna put my hodor cap on and enjoy the Michael Bay finish to what started as a great show.

Are you seriously placing GoT on the same level as Michael Bay's crap??

No I'm placing seasons 5 to present on that level. Without the source material it's just gotten shallow. But hey there's lots of boobs and splosions!!!!

Jesus fricking Christ man what do you want an entire episode devoted to explaining the infrastructure and logistics of how Dany and all the other houses supply their army?

It's one of those things you have to assume they figured out off camera because we don't have enough screen time left to flesh that all out on screen. Maybe GRRM will explain it in the book that he's never gonna write

ETA: just came to my attention that you're likely trolling and I totally bought it, good work

Yeah, I really thought it was weak sauce how Tyrion and Jaime left on a good note.

I agree for the most part. But if I'm remembering right, show Tyrion didn't lie to Jamie by telling him he DID kill Joffrey. If I'm remembering that right, I think that was a good change. I never really understood the lie in the books.

Because Tyrion's whole life was a lie that Jaime helped cover up. I can understand him wanting to repay the favor.

When they reunite in the books, while they will both brag about killing their brother the first chance they get, I do expect them both to break down and apologize to one another. Should be a powerful scene if it happens.

I know I'm in the minority, but I didn't really like the Tysha reveal. It seemed super cheesy to me. I found the original story to be more believable and satisfying.

I like it because it shows how enforces hypocritical Tywin actually is. Tywin got to marry the love of his life that provided no family benefits. He demands of all his children to not marry the ones he loved. So he has the wife of Tyrion who he knows is an innocent woman brutally raped for daring to marry for love. He sees all the worst parts of himself in Tyrion, and aside from humor and a bit of affinity toward the underdog, there is no true difference between Tyrion and Tywin.

I actually like the consequences of the story being true more than the actual story being true (if that makes sense).

Except rapey Tyrion.

No. Jaime only does clean deaths, and Cersei knows that. She'll let the Mountain do the dirty work (make poetic sense) or possibly hand one of them off to Qyburn. Plus last week the Sand Snakes were talking among themselves on which one gets to kill the Mountain.

Not that there is any "good" torture or that one type is better than another, but i hope they dont go back to the Mountain rape stuff. Or even to the roast one slowly while the other strangles themself trying to reach them. Other than those, im not sure what horrors Cersei will concoct.

I mean, this is Cersei we're talking about. I'm thinking next episode is going to show the single most violent death in the series. If you were batshit insane Cersei and you had the woman who killed your daughter in your hands, you'd go balls to the wall with her. I don't see how Cersei doesn't use the Mountain in the most violent way to kill them.

I'm looking forward to something horrible happening to them on screen. This season has been trying to gross us out, it seems. The bed pans / soup montage with Sam was one. The greyscale procedure / pot pie scene transition was another. Hopefully we get a barbaric execution to gross us out this time.
