GoT "Middle Ground" Thread - Between Seasons Edition ***Spoilers Possible***

A new season of rivalries, plotting, and clashes begins, and that's just in the Hodor thread. 
A quick review of the "Middle Ground" rules:
This thread is open to both readers and nonreaders for discussion of the show.
******Mild Spoilers Possible******
Nonreaders: You may ask questions of the book readers in this thread pertaining to what is occurring on the show. More sensitive nonreaders who wish to avoid even the mention of the books should not be in this thread.
Readers: Please answer any questions directly without giving away information which would constitute a significant spoiler. Comparison of events in the show to the books is allowed, but keep any discussion or speculation regarding future events in the book readers thread.
Partial Book Readers: If you have read some, but not all of the books, this is the thread for you.
If something is posted which is a borderline spoiler and someone asks you to edit, just be courteous and edit it. No need for the epic bitchfests which have occurred in the past. Blatant spoilers will be RA'd if you won't edit them yourself.

The season gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until mid-June. I shall not post in the non-reader thread. I shall speak no spoilers and win no upvotes. And just a FYI, the show is really starting to get away from storylines in the books. So depending on storyline you'll possibly get a "that's new to us too" responses. There's been some characters left out that are bigger characters in the books as well.

I have rewatched that scene a hundred times, but I've only seen Oberyn die once - the night it aired. I change it when it gets to THAT part every single time

The questions that get posted in the Hodor thread are mind numbingly dumb. It's amazing to me how hard it is for some people to keep up with MAJOR names and storylines

Same here. The problem I have with the leaked episodes is that I'd binge watch them in 4 hours and then
