Well, say goodbye to pointless filler.

The next 2 seasons are going to be quite a ride

Honestly, how hard is it to CGI snow and put a grey tint on the post production ?

Wow 7 - 50 min episodes. Takes a year to film 7 fricking episodes . They know they have fans by the balls so i guess Beggars can't be choosers. Stupid religious Fanatics and house of faces seemed to ruin episodes for the last two seasons at least thats done .

Why would they do that when they can delay shooting a couple of months, not have to do that, and save a good amount of money on CGI? I'd much rather see more of that CGI spent in battles and other things. GoT is a huge show but money doesn't grow on trees even for HBO.

I've waited longer for less episodes (Mad Men). It'll be fine.

I say let them take their time. They have 2 chances to get this right, and they have to nail it.

The next 2 seasons are going to be great.

Hopefully when they say Summer they mean June and not August.

Honestly I keep seeing this as the de facto reason there's barely any direwolves anymore.

How expensive can it be to CGI a wolf? I mean really. This is prob the biggest budget TV show in a long time and that is the answer to "where's the TWO direwolves that are left?"

Yet they will CGI Dany riding a dragon to get lunch in the next city.

bullshite

How expensive can it be for real? I can produce snow in Adobe After Effects for free in less than 2 hours.

I get it guys, I know it makes sense to wait to film in the winter, but I'm just annoyed mainly at the "too expensive to CGI the wolves" part of the equation. It can't be that hard. I know 2 people who work at Marvel and EA games that do CGI, I don't think it costs as much as they lead on.

Personally, I'd rather it look real than CGI.

Well then maybe if musick would have applied for a job on the production, we wouldn't be in this predicament!!!!

You only have yourself to blame!

Ask HBO's Rome how expensive things can be when producing a movie quality production for TV.

This guy breaks it down pretty well

And according to Forbes, GoT episodes are running about $10 million an episode. For everything.

This is strictly a money grab. 2 more years of HBO subscriptions rather than 1, and screw the fans. Why give us a full season when we can get 2 halves (yes 7 is more than half, but don't piss on my rant)

Yeah! Jesus HBO, finish the fricking season already!

I mean, if HBO would quit working on all it's other bullshite and just focus on Game of Thrones, season 7 would be out already. Frick!

They previously said they wouldn't be able to continue the pace of ten episodes per year. It's hard to see them being able to pull off thirteen, even with a delayed season.
