I almost wish I hadn't read the book.
I knew before I started reading that this would happen. I would wish I was going into the movie blind. But it is what it is. I loved the book, and I am extremely pumped for the movie!

Well apparently, they changed the ending up somewhat.

At that one point I also was pissed but reading it before hand just made me more excited. I thought Fincher did a flawless job of casting. I read it in the summer so I had already seen the trailer and the actors match the characters perfectly. Affleck was made to be Nick.

Not arguing with you, but according to the reviews that are out, they actually did not.

Opens the New York Film Festival tomorrow night. Word will start getting out how mind-blowing it is.

Just finished the book. Not sure if I'm glad I read it before or not. Still, plan on seeing the movie very soon after release.

Almost done with the book. I haven't read any reviews yet. But, you can't go wrong with a David Fincher film.

I don't think I've seen a movie in theaters since Django, but I'm taking the gf to the 10 o'clock tonight.
So pumped!

Found this funny: Affleck wasn't willing to wear Yankees hat in "Gone Girl"

Damn, I was intrigued after the trailer but now I'm pretty excited to see it after reading this thread. Probably will have to be a theater viewing if the reviews hold up.
