Gone Girl NEW TRAILER RELEASED *Book Readers Discussion*

Didn't want to upset anyone in the thread requesting no book spoilers. Here's the new trailer released today:

NPH is not at all what I pictured for Desi. When I read the book, I imagined this slightly chunky nerd (and not the love able kind), with zero social skills. I see NPH in these previews wearing a well-tailored suit, and all I see is Barney Stinson and his smooth/legendary style.
Truth be told I hated the ending. But in all credit to the author I read it in two days- definitely a page turner, I read the movie ending has been changed from the book. Does that excite or upset y'all?

I didn't live the ending. I assume the new ending will be Amy being figured out/caught.

I'm open to a different ending. I was disappointed with the ending of the book but it didn't change my feelings about the book in its entirety. I wouldn't mind seeing the nutcase get caught.. And how she reacts
