Is Life of Pi THAT good? I would imagine Django is a lock. I also imagin RollTide coming in the thread and getting scientific about these nominations.

Exact sam as best picture but different order

Best Actor
DDL will probably win but I would love if Juaqin Pheonix took it home. Surprised Anthony Hopkins isn't getting any love for Hitchcock.

Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical
Back Black! Doubt he'll win but that is awesome. Love me some Jack Black.

Best Actress for a Comedy
I'll probably start stalking Jennifer Lawrence. I'm just kidding I alread am. Winters Bone ftw.

Best Supporting Actor
Deepest field of all of the IMO. Wow that's a nice group of actors. Hopefully, hopefully Leonardo will start getting some respect at these award shows this year.

Best Animated Foreign Film
I love me some foreign film. Typically just as deep as as best film just nobody's heard of the, %50 of the time.

Best Animated Feature Film
It's sad that I haven't seen Brave.


All that being said, I hate award shows. For some reason I watch them though and care about who they nominated but not who wins. The Goldem Globes aren't as bad but the Acadey plays favorites every year and it's clear. That rhymed. People put too much stock in this crap. Two things happen: They win YAY or they lose WTF. Who cares if they won or lost its determined by a bunch of jerk faces. God forbid a popcorn flick get a nomination every now and then. Let me stop this rant, it could get worse. Maybe I'm alone this but my opinion is right

The reviews for Les Miserables have failed to pick up on RT and MC so I'm wondering if its momentum is starting to falter a bit. There's no doubt in my mind that Hathaway will be nominated and I'm pretty sure Les Miz will get a Best Picture nomination. But if the reviews really don't start improving you could see Hooper shut out of the Best Director race and all but killing the film's chances of winning Best Picture.

Seriously?

What? Episodes is awesome, and Matt is really good in it.

Kind of shocked that Mad Men didn't even get a nom. Not as good as previous seasons but still better than almost everything else on TV.

It also upsets me that Community constantly gets snubbed for everything every year.
