Gold Rush ( 5 Mllion dollar season)

Its on the Discovery channel for those interested. Its the series special tonight. The premiere is next Friday.

My money is on the Tony da viking if he gets that hunk of shite running. Parker is a hard worker also but Todd meh. Dave might help Todd though. Can you tell I watch it? My gf hates the show but I could watch all day.

I used to like this show but lost interest when they went to South America.

South America was a predictable disaster. And there was a show about 2 guys going to Africa that was a disaster also. How does one conclude that investing money to go to extremely impoverished countries when:
you are white
and to the natives, very rich
and you are taking their countries minerals and becoming richer
with essentially no protection
and no form of police within a hundred miles
and what you find would make them extremely wealthy in their own country
and you have to travel thru their towns
is a good idea? (sorry for the rant).
Anyways, like the Gold Rush show, wish they would quit the angle of pitting crews against each other.

It got insanely better last season, it was probably their best season...I even found myself rooting for the Hoffmans
