George Miller in Line to Helm Green Lantern Corps?

Ever since Mad Max: Fury Road knocked us all on our arses last year, fans have been salivating at the prospect of George Miller taking the reigns of a comic book movie. Of course the director was at the helm of the now defunct Justice League: Mortal, so it was rightly assumed that conversations with Warners about the possibility of stepping back into that world kicked off again after Fury Road's success.
Though Miller has confirmed that there have been talks, he never gave any indication of what project the studio had in mind - but in this week's installment of Heroic Insider, El Mayimbe reveals that he's heard it's going to be Green Lantern Corps.
Plus, in some rival studio related news, Mayimbe has also heard that Captain Marvel will debut in Avengers: Infinity War before her solo movie.

They're making all of these great decisions with Affleck and Miller and yet they still have Snyder doing JL.

George Miller needs to be directing Justice League, not a simple character movie like Green Lantern.
DC will be taken seriously if they get rid of that talentless one trick hack Snyder.

Losing SGS isn't a big deal to me since WB's reasoning is that they want a more experienced proven director for that instead. I find it interesting that the rumors about George Miller come out right around the same time.

Faraci spent yesterday on Twitter, hedging his bet and repeatedly telling people that he'd never said that Wan was leaving Aquaman.
Then Wan posted a pic of himself in front of a huge Aquaman image and told his followers there was no need to attack Faraci.

JL and every story I've read in the comic book about JL is boring.
Even the cartoon was boring. Basically you had a bunch of superheroes that were garbage surrounding a God that could do anything.
But in order to make them look good, they went on 'separate' missions'. You wonder why ZS had to kill Superman quick? To make JL in the real world make sense

There are a ton of stories that arent like that at all. The current run of JL is top 10.
Anyway, George Miller would be amazing but wasnt he rumored to do JL and that fell apart? All of this DC news is more see it to believe it for me. Knowing the status of DC, this movie will be about Hal going crazy, killing other GLs and becoming parallax.

I think they'd shy away from Parallax since they used it in the previous GL movie (and would want to do the opposite of that movie).

i was being a bit tongue and cheek since BvS used DKR and Death of Superman as their basis.
So the rumors were that itll have Hal, Jon, and Kyle but no Guy. bunch of bitches. Maybe they will start simple like they shouldve before and it will focus on the manhunters then open up the world of GL.
eta: that was NOT parallax, despite what they called it. and they used it as the yellow entity, not as a crazed Hal.

Yes, Batman's awesome, but I wouldn't call the rest of the JL "garbage."
