This was my point. Jon's warging ability has not been referenced at all in the show so for him to instantly warg into Ghost before dying seems farfetched.

Of course, but the ability to warg is first shown through dreams of the animal's point of view. Jon has not had any such dreams.

It would take some pretty good VFX to create an undead Catelyn Stark that is basically mutilated.

But they spent multiple seasons with Bran having to learn about it and how to do it and now all of a sudden Jon can just do it out of nowhere...

Last years finale was similar. It wasn't overtly long and covered like 80 storylines

I was reading the thread, and a comment really struck me. For those that picked up A Game of Thrones when it was first published, they haven't heard from Benjen in 18 years. It's been two years for me, but I can't imagine how huge this must be for the early Maesters.
