Anyone want to mock the comatose Khal Drogos who even at the end of Season 6 thought Rhaegar was the Mad King, Jon was an incest baby, or didn't know who Lyanna Stark was:
This had 8 upvotes BTW
Yeah, 87 times possibly.

Someone please explain to me who Jon Snow's mother is. I'm a bit lost there.

So who is Jon's parents?
Ned's sister who was married to Robert but had Jon out of wedlock with the mad king Targaryen?
Iz confused

So Jon Snow is an incest baby like Jamie & Cersei's kids?
What the frick is up with that world?!?!? Are the options THAT limited?!?!?!

Mad king knocked up Lyanna and also had Dany right?

Crap maybe I missed it where it was said that Rhegar was the father and not the mad King
Yeah, 87 times possibly.

I think people, myself included, were confused and thinking initially that Rhegar was the Mad King.

Was Rhaegar's name mentioned at all this episode? Or are we still going off theory?

Interestingly he is also Dany's nephew.
Half brother

Ok, so ... those of you with good memories (or who have recently done a re-watch:
How does EP 1 go most seasons? Mostly set up? Maybe a few moments to establish some shock or grittiness?
What are some of the more memorable EP 1 scenes?

I have no spoilers in me, but the only thing I expect is for Euron to attack Dany's fleet. Other than that and Cersei being pissed off that everyone is against her now, I have no idea how the premiere will play out.

I'm hoping for some "King in the Norf" stuff and maybe Danny making it ashore. I'm not too keen on Cersi craziness at least not till things ramp up a bit.

Well, the episode title spoils that part.

Yeah. For storytelling purposes Danny has a better group around her to interact with her, at least starting in E1 than Cersi. Jon's got a pretty good group too.

Based on trailers and leaked pics, of course it didn't work. Not sure how they use Euron honestly. I really can't figure how they make him a player at this point.

I want to talk about the S7 opening credits/our predictions for the locations:
-No more Essos
-Starks in Winterfell (since S6E10)
-King's Landing (Lannister Lion sigil)
-Oldtown
-Riverlands
-Wall (will it be included still??)

With the exception of seasons 1 and 6 I think they're usually good episodes but starting a slow build up for the latter half of the seasons when the truly jaw dropping moments happen.
In season 1 we see the white walkers, find out Cersei and Jamie are lovers and Bran is pushed from the tower. Those were wow moments for me because I hadn't read the books at that point.
Season 6 Jon went away from the light and we learned Melisandre is actually 800 years old. I think we all suspected Jon's eventual fate but Melisandre took me by surprise.
