Ok. I've reached 2 decisions:

1- if Dolorous Edd is going to stay as LC, I don't want the Wall to ever fall. Even if it guts the rest of the show. Cause frick them if they put it on Edd's watch.

2- if anyone takes the Lady Stoneheart role with Brienne regarding Pod and Jamie, I don't want it to be Dondarion.

I think I'm a whole lot more likely to get one of those wishes than the other

I feel like the Wall is going to fall as the S6 Finale Cliffhanger.

Just because we see two scenes back to back on the show, doesn't nessesarily mean they are actually happening at the same time. Time is a bendable in a fictio story, that goes for the books and the show

Agreed.

FWIW I've accepted that it's not a fully linear timeline for each character. The scene with Littlefinger could've happened a few months prior, whereas Sansa getting to the Wall happened currently.

I guess sleeping with the red woman to kill Renly really did take the years off of him.

On a totally Hodor level: Briene's mission should be chilling with Tormund, that's something that should be followed in the books.

They're going to drag Bastard Bowl out til episode 9 aren't they?

Gotta throw more guilt on Jon's shoulders-- he'll move South with the Wildings and then we'll have to watch the Night King kill Edd or something. OTOH, the wall falling and Fire Jesus saving the world would be one hell of a bullet point to throw down when trying to get the various houses to fill behind what many will view as a Bastard rising above his station.

We do know that the Littlefinger scene happened recently enough that it was after Sansa's escape and after news had reached LF of that escape.

Correct but we do know that it takes at least a week if not two to get from winterfell to castle black.

This probably should be in the other thread, but since this seems to be taking over, does anybody feel like Emilia Clarke is a better actress when speaking a fake language? Maybe it's just because she has had more to do.

Between her and Cersei constantly having to have what I call "stress face", their acting can only have so much range.

My recollection is that Lady Stoneheart had it in for Brienne because she didn't protect Sansa. Now in the HBO storyline would she off Brienne because either she let Sansa slip away and get Boltoned, or because she can't find Arya?

In my mind Brienne has kept her vow to Lady Start, but it's been many years since I read the specifics in the book...

Finally caught episode 4 last night. Not bad. Pumped for episode 5. I really do hate how Jaime is still by cersei's side all the time and didn't get the true character arc like on the books.

Maybe he will get his arc when he squares off against Brienne in the Riverlands
