Sucks if Barristan is dead, but you have to remember that it may not have been the writers' decision. The actor playing Barristan could have wanted off the show or gotten some other role, forcing the writers' hand. Don't have that problem with books.

Or it could've been Benioff and Weiss screwing with the book readers. It definitely shocked most in this thread.

judging by the fact that they didnt show barristan getting his throat slit and they showed him laying down in the preview, im going to hold out hope that theyre waiting for a healer or something. idk why they would just not have his throat get slit otherwise. having him laying there in the preview also seems pretty red herring-y.
pretty sure theyre killing him and theyre gonna have jorah play his part though. just like theyre doing with mance and tormund.

Has anyone mentioned that Cersei is sending Meryn Trant to his death via needle over in Braavos? I am pumped to see this, and the fact that the show is keeping the Iron Bank in the loop. Sending the goofball Tyrell to deal with them doesnt bode well for the current powers in Kings Landing.

Cersei wanted to get papa Tyrell out of the way so she could imprison Loras, or was he not the Tyrell she turned in to the High Sparrow.
eta: now that I've made sure this is the reader thread, I can say that Loras getting arrested is just a red herring for the Hodors so they think he is the one Cersei turned in, when we know it is Margaery.
