He's definitely one of the greatest warriors in the history of Westeros. I say he would be one of the few that may have a chance against Dayne, but not necessarily that he WOULD defeat him.
Cregan Stark is another great warrior that no one has mentioned, probably because very little is written about him. Prince Aemon the Dragonknight said that he had never faced a finer swordsman.
Cosmo has a tough job running this shite...knights from different time periods, knights with limited backstories...all vying for the greatest warrior title in the eyes of TD ASOIAF readers.

You guys have hyped the frick out of Arthur Dayne, who is mentioned in like one sentence out of five books. Does he get mentioned after Game of Thrones and I just forgot? I read most of those books like 8 years ago.

And to the guy asking about how much Dayne is mentioned, no, he isn't talked about in every chapter, but every time he is mentioned, it is usually prefaced with some superlative about his fighting ability.
I do agree with adding Daemon Blackfyre, I think Ser Duncan should be added as well. He may not have been polished, but he was the best brawler ever to crawl out of Flea Bottom.
