Came out while I was at Ft. Benning for Tank Mech school. There was a kid in the class who acted and sounded just like Grady.

Except for the end when the Germans did a full frontal assault on a dead tank at night. Swing wide, circle behind and hit it where the machine guns can't hurt you. They literally had nothing to protect their flanks. That tank would've been taken out in the time it took to walk around to each flank.
Good acting though and entertaining. Far far from realistic.

Agree partly. An unflinching, graphic movie needed made about life in a Sherman for these poor mfers and Fury knocked that over the fence.

But it drags in the middle and the ending was too far-fetched. Could've cut 15mins and had a better film.

Props on getting the world's last working Tiger in the movie, though. The sound of that engine revving up is terrifying.

Actually the assault on the Tiger by the Shermans is extremely realistic.

You're partially correct- it deserves very mild praise but as a fairly mediocre film it is slobbered on relentlessly for reasons beyond my comprehension

Or when they throw however many grenades in the tank at Pitt and his body, while dead, had just a few scrapes on it lol

I think it's an awesome movie. Great performance by everyone. I understand it's a movie, so i do'nt get all high and mighty about things that are a bit farfetched.

Yeah, but you're not going to take one of the world's most attractive actors and cut to a shot of him looking like this:

I really enjoyed it. The guys have great chemistry, and Shia Lebouf gives his best performance yet.

I didn't like it because I hated that kid and they let him live.

One of my favorite war movies. Enjoyed the reruns that have been on lately.

Why a Tiger would have charged at the Shermans and closed the distance I have no idea. He actually would have tried to keep distance and used that big 88 to filet those tanks. But, it is a movie.

My roommate and I red boxed this when we were both real hungover on a Sunday. He's a weed smoker and haven't smoked in forever but I was hungover so I decided to take a few pulls. Bad idea. Anxiety went through the fricking roof when they fought the tiger tank. Felt like my heart was going to stop

Watched that scene on YouTube about 100 times after that. So awesome

Horrible movie. So overwrought. It deserves more to be in a category next to We Were Soldiers and Windtalkers instead of Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, and Patton.
