Just saw it for the first time.

It's certainly not for everyone. But it is a phenomenal movie.

SPOILERS

The ending to me was what made the movie great. No redemption for Jon. He doesn't even ever fit in the band. But he realized that and just walks away. Frank's tragic redemption at the end was just perfect. Great original well done movie.

Thought it was a great touch how his hair was all rubbed off.

And the scene where he writes the song about the little piece of thread was my favorite of the whole movie.

Really enjoyed this movie, and was a little disappointed the ending song was nominated for anything. I really enjoyed that as well.

I saw this over the weekend, and the main song from the movie has been in my head almost all week.

I feel like if I was a musician or in other entertainment biz, I would appreciate it more.

It was a fun, quirky movie but it didn't blow me away.

The ending was a fantastic punchline to an expansive joke of a movie (in a good way). Helluva Netflix gem

I don't agree. He put the band back together - only with an unmasked Frank who presumably had a fighting chance at "normalcy" going forward.

If Jon was never in the band, then the mask never comes off. And I think the movie wanted you to believe the mask coming off was good.

I really enjoyed this.

Yeah I really really like this movie and was pleasantly surprised. And had no idea who was playing Frank, only that his voice was very familiar.

Very creative and original movie and a nice satire on social media as well.

I thought Maggie Gyllenhall was brilliant in this.

Netflix has a lot of good under the radar movies

This was definitely one of them
