Lol at these idiots. Have they ever even flipped a house in their life? do they know anything? Douche husband refused to "lose" the house in a bidding war and pays $50k too much. borrows money from his "investor" to cover the auction price. Buys the house site unseen... comps in the area of houses way nicer than their house going for about $450k (asking price); and these idiots think they are going to get $500k?

may be. they look like they never done this before, but the wife is attractive. my guessis the "investor" is actually the exec producer

The husband and wife are both real estate agents. They got into flipping after the market crashed. Ive seen the show a few times and they generally make 30-50k. Some episodes they end up not selling the house by the end of the show but they don't say if they lost money.
The husband always under prices how much it will cost for renovations. They usually blow way past the budget. You can tell he hasn't done much manual labor because he talks about him figuring out how to help out during other episodes. He doesn't know a lot about fixing up things.
They only use the investor for the first few episodes. after that, they don't need him to invest because they end up making enough to go out on their own.

The one that is obviously fake is Love it or List it.
List it guy- shows two retarded houses that don't improve on anything, aren't in the neighborhood or the budget. Then shows a perfect house that would be a great price for them after they sell their old now fixed up house.
Because that's how house hunting works. You just pick a house and sell your house. It really is that easy.
Love it lady- has absolutely ridiculous renovation prices. Always does stuff without asking the homeowners (because that's how remodels work, the homeowner leaves to go look at houses and all the renovation is done while they are gone and unreachable). Never gets more than half of the items done because there is always some electrical or structure issue.
Complete fabrication. Can't even watch the show.
