I never read or heard about the comic before the show. After she kills the bad guy in the last episode, does that mean there will not be a season 2?

There will be a season 2 and Jessica Jones will also appear in the Defenders series when it comes out.
Season 2 will either have a different villain or its even possible that Kilgrave could make a return

There'll be a season 2. They're gonna be hard pressed to have a villain half as good as Kilgrave.

Not sure how Kilgrave could return from a broken neck but we are talking comic book land so anything's possible.
Love the series too, mostly because it doesn't feature a bunch of costumed robots doing elaborate and boring CGI fight scenes.

I read an interview with David Tennant where it was strongly hinted that he would show up in Luke Cage.
I'm sure they'll do a second season. There seems to be a lot of buzz about the show. They can explain how she got her powers, have Jessica doing PI work

Question for you comic readers, who was the doctor that helped the cop? What was that drug he took that made him strong and badass? Is that the drug the Chinese woman from Daredevil was dealing? It seemed like the cop and the doctor and the two guys who came to get the cop were from some secret group. That's really the only thing that intrigued me.
