I like TWD fine. Should I start watching this show? E1 reviews seemed lukewarm at best.

It started slow, but that's cause it was the very beginning of the apocalypse and they were setting up characters. shite should be getting real in this episode.

We found out the year the Zombie Apocalypse started and kinda how it started in the first episode. I thought it was good although it starts slow.

first one was really slow, I literally just finished watching it about 5 minutes ago. It was a rough go out of the gate, hopefully it picks up steam in episode 2.

I didn't think it was slow at all but most people I've chatted with thought it was so I guess I'm in the minority. I thought they did a good job at introducing the characters and setting things up to get all apocalyptic.

2012/2013 ish mainly because of the characters use of iPhones and the way they looked. There was an article about it and more but not sure if that would be "spoiler" related since it also talks about the cause of the Apocalypse

Just makes me happy I dont live in los Angeles. Last S.O. was from L.A., I thought people freaking out over a thunderstorm there was a myth. Its not. The majority are helpless.
