Craig. He's the only one to provide depth to stereotype character

Don't you think the scripts had a large part in that?

re: Favorite James Bond.
That's obviously a big part, but the subtleties in his body language in casino is money. He approaches the role differently and it shows.

ETA: and even if it was all due to the script. He was the guy reading the lines. He is the best bond solely because of casino. The definitive bond movie. Not a fan of skyfall.

Amazes me how little mention this gets on the board. The definitive bond movie until casino and an all time great sequel.

A great film. So many good aspects. I'll have to go with Connery. On film he still presents the consummate Bond. Craig has made it interesting for a new age, but Connery will always be the best Bond.

It's on quite a few worst Bond lists as well. I don't get the hate. I love it. You have a rogue Bond and a cocaine kingpin. What's not to love?

re: Favorite James Bond.
My favorite Bond is Sean Connery

Then Brosnan/Craig

My first Bond movie was A View to a Kill and I will say Walken was a great villian, but I found that Moore as Bond had lost a lot of the edginess. He seemed more a caricature of Bond than anything else.

Dalton's Bond, especially in License to Kill was much more deadly. I remember my older brother telling me that this Bond movie was the best in his opinion b/c Dalton's Bond just didn't give a shite. He went around just killing everyone and was pretty brutal. Bond was/is a killer, not a comedian.

I think Craig does a good job of bringing out the "killer" in Bond. He's not as PC as Brosnan's Bond. Back in the 90's it seems they were trying to make Bond less of a chauvenist and more politically correct. Craig's Bond gets away from that crap.

For me, Goldeneye was my first exposer to Bond. When you compare it to other Bonds it's not hat great, but it still holds a place in my heart for introducing me to Bond

Wasn't the first Bond movie I saw, but the first that really got me into the movies. It also had a game based on it that is still one of the best FPS games ever. That bumps it up for me.

I grew up with Roger Moore and will always be James Bond to me...yes, seems cheesy now, but he was perfect man for the role during that time..

The Spy Who Loved Me

But I have liked the Craig movies and like Connery
