The list is crap but I thought I'd go ahead and post it. There are a few people on here that shouldn't be. Lex Luthor from the original Superman and Green Goblin from the first Spider-Man are strangely absent in favor of some weird choices.

15. Bullseye, Daredevil (2003)
14. Dr. Octopus, Spider-Man 2 (2004)
13. Phoenix, X-Men 3: X-Men United (2006)
12. The Joker, Batman (1989)
11. Red Skull, Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
10. Mystique, X-Men franchise (2000-Present)
09. Ra's Al Ghul, Batman Begins (2005)
08. Alexander Pierce, Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
07. Gabriel, Constantine (2005)
06. General Zod, Superman II (1980)
05. Sebastian Shaw, X-Men: First Class (2011)
04. Magneto, X-Men franchise (2000-Present)
03. Loki, Marvel's Cinematic Universe (2008-Present)
02. Catwoman, Batman Returns (1992)
01. The Joker, The Dark Knight (2008)

Doc Ock is way too low

I also don't think I'd have Phoenix, Red Skull, Gabriel, and possibly Alexander Pierce on there.

1989 Joker is top 5, IMO. Any character from X Men 3 doesn't belong on this list. That movie should be forgotten all together. I'm not a fan of any of the Spider Man movies, so I have no problem with any of that. Alexander Pierce? What about Bucky? That's just asinine.

Definitely.

Red Skull, Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
I wouldn't have him on there.
quote:

Phoenix, X-Men 3: X-Men United (2006)
Oh hell no. She was a terribly, terribly done rendition of the Phoenix.
quote:

Alexander Pierce, Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Winter Soldier should be considered if we are including villains like Catwoman from Batman Returns.
quote:

Bullseye, Daredevil (2003)
Also shouldn't be on this list.

I argue that Ozymandius from Watchmen should be included on the list.

Stryker from X2 should be on the list over Phoenix if anything.

Prince Nuada from Hellboy 2: The Golden Army should be considered.

That's a great one. Brian Cox is just great in general.

Awful list. Catwoman ahead of Loki? No Shredder?

Well, at the end of Thor: The Dark World he has taken Odin's place.

He is a conniving SOB. His cunning far makes up for his lack of strength.

LOL

08. Alexander Pierce, Captain America: The Winter Soldier

I thought the winter soldier was the memorable villain in this film.

Agree. Dude lobotomized his own son.

No love for Gene Hackman as Lex in Superman?

Thulsadoom from Conan is another good one.

Meh villain, IMO.

Here is my top 15 if I had to choose:

1. Joker (The Dark Knight)
2. Doc Ock (Spiderman 2)
3. Loki (Thor, Avengers)
4. Stryker (X-men 2)
5. Magneto (X-men, X-men: DOFP)
6. Ozymandius (Watchmen)
7. The Joker (Batman 1989)
8. Ra's al Ghul (Batman Begins)
9. Winter Soldier (Capt. America 2)
10. Sebastian Shaw (X-men: First Class)
11. General Zod (Man of Steel)
12. Mystique (X-men)
13. Prince Nuada (Hellboy 2)
14. Gabriel (Constantine)
15. Nomak (Blade 2)

It is hard to come up with a list, but that is about what I came up with.

so Bucky doesn't make this list but Mystique and Sebastian fricking Shaw does and number 5 at that? What a joke.

Stryker from X2 was better.

Mystique is fricking anti-hero at this point.

Phoneix was a possessed Jean Grey, so the Bucky not being on the list is even more hysterical.

Ozymandias should be this list

Deacon Frost from Blade should be here

Bane from TDKR,even though he was a sidekick

Zod from Man of Steel was really good.

Also, I know it's a movie, but Kingpin from the DD series is better than half the list

Yeah, but he was also in the comics.

My dad's high school debate teacher actually dated Robert Howard. She was portrayed by Rene Zellweger in the movie about him.

No Bane? Maybe not the best, but more deserving that several on the list.

And I'll take it Syndrome doesn't count, because if they're simply going with supervillains, few have been able to match what he's done. Pretty much manages to take out almost every single hero on the planet without anyone getting suspicious over it. Plus his love/hate relationship with his arch nemesis is simply great.

TDKR ending really hurt my view of him as a villain, at least in that movie.

He went from being a badass to a lackey in the matter of 10 seconds.

Also, I really didn't like that movie and that kinda hurts my opinion of him as well.

I don't consider him to be a comic book supervillain since the comic book came out in response to the movie, not vice versa.
