I watched it when I was a kid and recently watched a few episodes on T.V. I haven't laughed that much at a T.V. show in a long time. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman together were a riot. I wish more shows today were like this.

I used to like it when they would crack up. Not sure why it bugs me when Fallon would do it 100% of the time on SNL but I used to love when Tim Conway would cause Korman to lose it.

Fantastic show. One of my favorites as a kid. I haven't seen it in years.

Never missed this as a kid--since I had no say about which of the four channels we watched, I guess my parents were fans too. Always funny. The one I remember most is Carol sweeping down the stairs in a Scarlett O'Hara drapery gown with the curtain rod still attached. Genius.

"I saw it in the window and had to have it"

One of the funniest things I've ever seen

I believe that was on the intro as well. I used to watch the show when it aired.

And of course the Mama's Family sketches. It's been said if you play them without the laugh track they work equally well as dramas.

"I was at this freak show one time and I saw these Siamese Elephants..."

Conway would not only get Korman, but the whole cast.
Some of my favorite skits of his include:
"The Dentist", "Simba", "Fluffy Lee Bunnie",
"The Meat Market", "The Clock Shop", "The Airline Counter", and "The Slave Ship"

Unlike the forced laughter of today, Korman would really try to hold in his laughter, but Conway would do something unexpected..

Vicki Lawrence got Carol Burnett once on "Mama" also.

It was really natural comedy, just humans being human and hilarity ensued

I watched some comedy special on PBS about this show and the skits they showed, well maybe I'm simple but I was dying laughing, 20 years or so later

Yes. It was hilarious by the standards of the day. I also liked Rowan & Martin's "Laugh-In" and the Smothers Brothers Show.
