I actually "grieved" a little when we finished Parks & Rec. I loved me some Ron Swanson. I was so thrilled when I saw this the other day.

Yes, I watch PBS.

Ron Swanson and Roger Sterling are my favorite men ever to be on TV.

Just like the Office I grieved when Parks and Recs ended as well.

You can buy stuff from his wood shop IRL.

The best part about Ron Swanson's legacy is Nick Offerman really isn't that much different.

I miss that era of NBC....the office, parks and rec, community, 30 rock

Then they ditched the smart comedies for the cbs model but I don't think that's been a success for them either

Offerman is an actual woodworker and they filmed those woodworking scenes in his actual woodworking shop. So great.

I felt bad for his character in The Founder. He got screwed by Ray Kroc.

I thought it sucked. But that's just one man's opinion.

I don't think Ron would appear in an anti-gun PSA like Nick did.

I do miss Ron Swanson.

I'll address all the other posts by saying that Nick Offerman is definitely not like his character. Nick can be very liberal, his wife is very liberal. However, I do have both of his books "Paddle Your Own Canoe" and "Gumption" both are pretty good and I recommend them to anyone interested.
