I follow it on youtube, after the fact, and I dig the show, despite all of them being so inept and incapable of learning that I just can't care about what happens to them.

I could take it or leave it at this point.

why dont you write us a book about the survival items you would use in a zombie apocalypse.

The thing about a zombie apocalypse is you'd be...alone.

Stopped watching in the season after they left the jail when Carl started thinking Rick was a pussy. Just lost interest.

The show lost me after the prison season

It's had a huge drop in quality but I still watch it just because. Now if they drag it out for another 13 seasons then I'll stop watching way before that.

Season 1? Awesome.
The rest? A slaw downward spiral.

The governor arc was pretty solid.

It really depends on your interests. If you just want to see zombies trying to eat people, you will get bored with it quickly. However, if you enjoy how the stress of an apocalypse impacts every day life and the relationships of the characters as I do, you will like it all.

sure. go to a military base, grab some M4's, M9's, and gobs of ammo for both. Then get a diesel vehicle, a fuel tank on a trailer. and diesel generator. Haul them to where you have access to a lathe and tig welder, or at least a torch. Make silencers for all the rifles ( lots of them) If you look hard, you'll find quality 22lr autoloading pistols. Make silencers for such pistols, too. Get some water filters, etc, from stores or hoards, Get mountain bikes and inflatable rafts. move to an island in a fast moving river for the winters. go way up north for the summers. zombies will all have frozen solid up north. For normal life, for several years, mostly. stay underground, in the woods, during daylight hours, and you'll run a lot less risk from predators like the Saviors.

it was really good early on when they had a purpose and then it was lost and now it is more about the day to day struggle with other clans. I find myself not giving a shite about the show now and simply watching because I have watched them all now.

Absolutely horrible writing.

Well let's see - plot is zombies want to eat us and we don't want them to.
Got it, show after show after show.
I pass.

The falling van episode tried my patience. the whole Glenn dumpster scene turned me off for good. I thought the first three seasons were really strong, but it's been downhill ever since.
