Do you feel that "Seven" has held up well, after 22 years now? (obvious spoilers)

Feel like anyone was off their game? Pitt, Freeman, Paltrow and Spacey.

It's a film that I still enjoy watching, and when I watch now..I wish there could have been more, felt it could have been another half hour-45 minutes with character development/insights.

During the first time you saw it..Were you legit taken back or shocked at any point? Or did you feel some things were predictable?

I'll watch it anytime I see it on tv. I love when they are going through the different sins, and how he does it.

I've always though Pitt's reaction at the end is weird in the desert. The way he cringes and keeps asking what's in the box just seemed strange, but I have no clue how anyone would react getting that info.

I think it holds up. I like it.

i think it's held up better than Lambs, myself, tho i think someone other than pitt would've been better ... never been a fan of pitt's acting ...

What this film has done is going to be puzzled over and studied and followed... forever.

Predictable. The box scene especially. Well executed though.

All of Fincher's earlier films have held up amazingly well.

I can't think of very many thrillers made in the last 22 years that have been quite as effective as Seven. The ending is absolutely fricking perfect.

The bad guy totally wins in the end. That's the "shock" I took from it.

I would have gut shot him and disemboweled him with my bare hands until Freeman pulled me off.

Seven legit freaked me out, some of that stuff stuck with me for a few days. It's an all time favorite.

Eta...think it definitely holds up.

I liked the alternate ending when I first heard about it. The one where morgan freeman kills him right before Brad Pitt does to keep him from losing himself to Rage.

Saving Brad and preventing the bad guy from fulfilling his goal.

I'm surprised we didn't get that here in America. They did ruin "The Vanishing" in just that sort of way.
