Do you ever wonder what it'd be like if the fricking Alien randomly walked through your living room door. Big arse 7 foot hissing thing like 10 feet from you about to wreck shite?
There's squirrels or something crawling into the roof and all I can think of is "what if that was the mother fricking alien and its crawling around inches from you, waiting."

When I'm bored I use weird circumstances like this as a thought exercise so that I am at least somewhat mentally prepared for when it really happens. the Alien busting through the door is something I've considered actually. Usually it's more like typical home invasion scenarios at different times when the wife, dog and I are in different parts of the house.
What if someone breaks in at night when we are all three in bed? What about the middle of the evening when we are in the gym downstairs? What about when we are on the couch watching football?
