I wasn't crazy about the ending. It ended kinda abruptly and just left me with a really bad "unresolved" feeling. It was almost as if they didn't know how to end it. Anyone else feel this way?

The ending was weak, but (as you know) this movie is about atmosphere and tension...and strangely it far exceeded my expectations. It was almost nostalgic in a new way. Made me feel like a kid again.

No joke.

I thought Mad Max was ok at best. Absolutely no story behind it. Just one big action scene/chase. Hell, the title character wasnt even the main character of the movie. Wasnt mad that i watched it but people saying movie of the year are just as off.

Mad Max is severely overrated on this board. It was entertaining though.

Since I'm sure you started this thread b/c of me, I didn't hate ex machina. I liked it, but I wouldn't watch it again, and I didn't like the ending. I wouldn't tell anyone to not watch it.

Mad max was just terrible. I'm not sure what was so appealing about it to some of you.

There are people who hate one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time - Man of Steel. I don't understand how other than those people being absolutely dead inside. So if people hate that movie, I am sure they will hate your movies listed. For the record, I have no desire to see any of the movies you mentioned and probably never will see them.

I hope it picks up where 1 left off and ends about where 2 starts up. Interesting to see what max did and how he survived in the time between movies.

I love Mad Max. Probably my favorite movie this year. While I think Ex Machina was also a really good movie, I think it's not as good as a lot of you guys make it out to be.

I wasn't a huge fan of Mad Max. I liked it OK, but I don't see what all the fuss is about. Ex Machina was amazing!
