Did any of you ever watch The Greatest American Hero?

Believe It or Not
The new Supergirl trailer reminded me of The Greatest American Hero. I vaguely remember watching it when I was a kid. It was kinda funny and stupid.

The series chronicles Ralph's adventures after a group of aliens gives him a red suit that gives him superhuman abilities. Unfortunately for Ralph, who hates wearing the suit, he immediately loses its instruction booklet, and thus has to learn how to use its powers by trial and error, often with comical results.

Hell yeah. Loved that show. We recorded all the episodes on VHS and watched the hell out of them.
Got the DVDs for my dad recently and rewatched them. Definitely does not hold up very well hahaha but still enjoyed them. I wear my GAH shirt pretty frequently.

I loved the show when I was a kid. Tried to watch not too long ago and it doesn't hold up well.

Sure. I can remember when they had to change the lead character from Ralph Hinkley to Ralph Hanley after the Reagan assassination attempt. And by the end they changed it back to Hinkley.
It was an OK series. I enjoyed Robert Culp's character more so than the hero of the show.

I watched a couple of episodes, but it wasn't for me. I know that it was supposed to be silly, but the powers and origin seemed a bit off to me.
