Kind of cheesy, but not terrible. Anyone catch the Man of Steel trailer? Had to rewind it and make sure it was what I thought.

1.5 hours into this, & it's pretty fricking terrible. Even for Sci-Fi on the SyFy network, this is unusually bad. The script is straight out of the 80's, the acting is shite......this show had better improve quick

I'll probably wait on a review from someone other than you or Stu if I want a fair assessment of the show's potential. If its truly horrendous it might be worth watching just to read your critiques.

Heck, I even said SGU was getting slightly interesting right when it was cancelled. Although, I don't miss the rape stones.
I'm too lazy to even watch this one. As I said, reviews have been dismal. I can't even summon the energy to watch it to hate on it.

i was planning on watching this think I will wait and see if it survives before investing my time in a new show for it to only get cancelled.

I'm about to check it out. If anyone remembers the slow start Farscape got off to... Then they'll know they shouldn't write it off so quickly - It's the same team doing Defiance.
If it doesn't live up to expectations... There's always new episodes of Continuum starting next week (in Canada and... wherever...la la la).

Not as good a start as Farscape unfortunately. Not a terrible first episode, but not particularly good either. Hopefully it improves.
