Yes it was, re-watched it myself last night. Definitely one of the best comic book movies to date..

I only made it through 20 minutes. I just couldn't take all the witty one liners. I will probably force myself to sit through it all at some point to see if it gets better.

Well for you it prolly won't get better.

Witty one liners and gore is pretty much all it is.

Sorry you can't enjoy a good movie.

Deadpool is a collection of witty one-liners that often break the 4th wall, and lots of violence. I loved the movie, but if that's not your bag, you probably won't like the movie at all.

I usually do. Something about this one just bugged me though. Maybe I was in the wrong mood for it when I started watching.

I'm not trying to be some kind of movie snob and act like this movie is beneath me or something, it's just that the dialogue took me out of the movie. It just felt forced to me. It felt like somebody should be hitting the symbol after every single line.

I'm curious where you live to be that far off the grid.

I'm with you Ham Solo.

For whatever reason, i did not enjoy it when the wife and i went see it opening weekend. The story really is non existent, and the 10 year old like cursing got old quick.
I still thought it was funny.

I watched it again at home and liked it much better upon second viewing.

Where in the world do you live that is hours from a cinema? And who calls it a cinema any way?

Yeah, that was my problem. If the jokes are falling flat with you in that movie there just isn't much left to like. At least the portion that I watched.

Deadpool was the first time in a long time I felt emotionally invested in seeing the movie without any prior ties.

The marketing was brilliant, and I went to see it as much to be entertained as to make sure my hard earned money rewarded them for putting out such a great product/marketing scheme.

That's gonna be one of the most depressing things I read on the Movie board.

I would be nervous to know what residents where you live do for entertainment.

Imagine being a kid wherever he lives at.

Going to the movies has to be like going to Disneyworld to those kids

How is that depressing? Some people like living in the sticks. Some folks think the sprawl is depressing as frick.
