I forgot about this.
Oh yeah, me too. Just remembered how he saved those guys from that sinking boat as well. Maybe not as big of a piece of shite as I thought. He just comes off that way on the camera I guess.

Also just saw where him and a partner bought the Saga in 2012.

Where does the quota originate from processors? or fish and game? Does anyone know how they decide who gets what amount of quota, it sounds like a hand full of boats or people get the quota sell it off and make stupid OT money off of it.

How does Elliott get insurance? The guy openly admits he does coke and heroin. He and the Saga are a major disaster waiting to happen.

You would think he would be non-insurable, especially when Wild Bill talks about having to fight with his insurance company because Nick drinks.

Kind of the same with me. I gat depressed while watching thinking about Phil and his two boys. They still needed some raising, it wasn't time for him to go.

Last night's episode he was pretty obviously driving the boat while nodding on heroin. I wonder if the crew member who broke his arm was using. That boat is a train wreck.

I enjoy the normal show but I wish they did more behind the scenes stuff or something like that

Like what do these guys do when they aren't on a boat? Wizard caught their red quota in like 5 days. After opies are done, I know they do other fishing, or at least the boat does, but I think I'd be interesting to see what they do during the other time.

That's kind of the jist of the story as a fisherman out there. Hard work, shitty conditions, away from home all the time, etc. It's a lonely lifestyle
