I fully believe the reason that Arrow was fairly shitty this season is because the creator/writers were busy with Flash.
Its the same thing Star Trek use to suffer from where they would be starting a new Star Trek series and giving fan service to the current one.

Agreed, and I'd prefer Jaime Reyes over Ted Kord personally, if they make him like he is in the Brave and the Bold show. That suit was awesome.

Sounds like they will be traveling around to different points in time fighting Savage. I like it. They better cast the hell out of Savage though. GCT's suggestion of Rufus Sewell would be a home run.
And Wentworth needs to tone down his dialog. If he continues what he was doing on Flash, it will get annoying fast.

Same here. They won't be tied into any linear multi-seasonal lines unless they want to be. They can play around with all sorts of "what if" scenarios, kind of like the first few seasons of SG1.

I wonder how they plan to use Dr. Stein without having Ronnie as permanent character? I know they show Firestorm in the preview, but I'm guessing all of those shots were from the first episode. I'm pretty sure Oliver, Barry, and Ronnie won't be a permanent part of the show, just showing up in the pilot and maybe one or two other episodes.
So I wonder if they going to make it to where Stein and Ronnie can turn into Firestorm on their own? Or will Stein just act as the brains of the group, and not turn into Firestorm?

My guess is that Robbie Amell has some other commitments and wasn't available for the shooting schedule. They can use Garber and a stand-in for Ronnie with CGI flames blurring his face. They can plug in Amell when he's available I guess.
