How great of a movie is this?
Top 5 movie of all time for me.
There aren't many movies out there that combine music and a great story essentially about nothing but high school quite like this movie.

It is up there for me. I watch it all the time. My wife HATES when it's on because she knows that we will watch it

You know how for like the last year or so I've been talking about going to law school so I can become a ACLU lawyer to be in a position to help people getting fricked over and all that? Well I'm standing in line at the post office yesterday you know, and I'm looking around and everybody's looking really pathetic you know what I mean. Like people have just got drool sticking there, and like this guy's bending over and you can see the crack of his... It was all just like wife beaters, it was.. Anyway. I realise that I just don't want to do it. You know what I mean it sounds good and all but I just have to confront the fact that I really don't like the people I've been talking about helping out. You know what I'm saying. I don't like people period. I mean you guys are okay. I don't know. I'm just trying to be honest about being a misanthrope.

We always used to skip school, blaze, and watch it at my buddy's house. When it got about 40 minutes in we would either:
A) pause it and go back to school (least likely)
B) smoke more and keep watching (more likely)
C) already be passed tf out (also likely)
The only shitty thing is that this is the movie I watched the night before 1/9/12 but not even that can ruin the greatness

Maybe it was because I'd heard so much about how great it was but when I finally got to watch it, I liked it but wasn't bowled over by it. I thought the same thing about Almost Famous also.
