I'm wondering that as well. I mean, Cap 2 was about as dark as an MCU movie has been so far (AoU is probably way darker), and it was rainbows and puppies compared to Daredevil.

They hinted at Elektra, and I guess you sort of have to do her storyline, but I'd love it if they created some distance from the Frank Miller Daredevil and delved into the Bendis Daredevil (which also ties in much better to Jennifer Jones and Civil War).
Of all the heroes who could have consequences from being outed, Daredevil has the most at stake in the MCU. I'd love to see him Murdock actually doing courtroom stuff to protect his secret identity, denying his public outing.
I think the show's greatest strength is its economy. Let's not bring in a bunch of other characters. Let's keep it small and intimate, and the stakes personal. I could live with Bullseye, as he ties into the Hand, but let's just make next season about the Hand, Fisk, and Owsley. The players are already set up, there's no need to expand the universe.

Keep watching. I honestly thought Dare Devil himself was kind of meh, but D'onofrio is great as Kingpin. This is a show or hopefully just season, where the bad guys are more interesting than the good guys.

Release date for Daredevil Season 2 is supposedly July of 2016, which is 2 months after Civil War.

just finished the first season this morning and enjoyed it.
no major complaints.
i will say that i really enjoyed the last episode and it's pacing till.....
*spoiler*
he got the suit. not that it was bad or anything, but i felt like we went from crime noir to hoaky in a manner of seconds. when it cut back and showed the full suit, i thought he looked like a scrawny dweeb. not a badass.

i see you're point there, but personally I loved that shot. Can't wait to see him kicking arse in it next season.

In Episode 2, my wife said Daredevil needs to eat a sandwich. He's scrawny the whole way through.
