Craig is a solid Bond

and I liked the first alot, the second was just ok....not nearly as awful as some have acted here

I kinda prefer a colder Bond FWIW, you know the way he was written

Casino Royale is one of my favorite Bond movies. Quantum of Solace was just meh. They are different than the older Bonds though.

But CR was OK, QoS was one of the worst films of all time

Possibly one of the dumbest comments ever.

I mean do you want them to bring back Connery or something? Craig is a bad arse and about as good of a Bond as possible.

I take you haven't seen that many Bond films. I mean honestly, you couldn't have.mthere are 5-6 Bond films alone worse than it much less worst of all time.

The last two Brosnan films were horrendous. QoS had a bad story but it wasn't laughable or horrendous like those two. Or the Timmothy Dalton films. Yeesh, about as bad as you can get.

correct
and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was closer to the original novel than the '71 film. How'd that work out?

I have. I've also been to the Spy Museum in DC and seen the endless parallels between Bond and the reality he was based on. The wit and dangerous playfulness are a part of it, and shitty wooden Bond is shitty and wooden.

Face it. They wanted him to be more like the more recently successful Jason Bourne (another ruined franchise), and the result is mediocre at best.

Casino Royale was one of the best ones ever. Followed up by one of the worst ones.

They need to be real careful with Craig. They really screwed up the Brosnan Bond after Goldeneye by trying to turn him into an action hero. It's just not the right way to go with Bond.

Casino Royal is an awesome movie. And Daniel Craig is a great bond. Definitely check it out.

Casino Royale is really good, has an incredible opening. Quantum of Solace is just o.k. I think the writers strike really screwed Solace and it could of been much better.

The Dalton films were much better than most with Moore.

I love the Bourne films and thought CR was okay, but QoS powerfully sucked.

And now, Bourne sucks.

I'll go see the new Bond movie, though. Last chance.

Most Bond films don't age well anyway, they are campy and cheesy for the most part.

I saw one where Bond was in the ocean and harpooned a plane flying overhead so he could catch a ride. That kinda mess is typically reserved for Troll Hunter II, MonsTURD, and GingerDead Man

I agree. Great action movie but it is not Bond. What is missing is the suave, cultured, quintessential English gentlemen that belies the deadliest of assassins. Sean Connery played this perfectly IMO. Brosnan would be my second-best, with Moore coming in as a childhood favorite(but more over the top). The new films are great if you look at them like an English Bourne. I actually though Q of S played much better than Casino Royale.

I would argue that you are gay for Daniel Craig, or you're his publicist.

The more I read your posts, the more I disregard them.

Regarding the OP, Casino Royale is one of the best Bond films I've seen. QoS was a let down but it wasn't Craig's fault.

I questioned Craig as Bond at first, but he has grown on me. Can't wait for the new one.
