Saw Creed last night basically not expecting much but a somewhat entertaining continuation of the Rocky series. This is a great movie by itself. Definitely worth the price of admission.

I keep hearing this all over. This is certainly encouraging.

Saw it yesterday as well. Very good. Not just a mindless fight movie. Kind of hits you in the feels at some points.

It's a good stand alone movie but even better if you've seen all the rocky movies since apollo is so heavily referenced in this.

Fight scenes were amazing and could not have been done any better.

Agree. It can be formulaic at times. But somehow I didn't mind it because the original moments outweighed the predictable ones. Some powerful scenes thrown in there too.

Guess I'll have to view this one "in private."

I agree the fight scenes are filmed incredibly, its kind of a super HD partial slow motion not sure what but really awesome.

Also, in Rocky Balboa I didnt care for Stallone's performance I thought his accent was way off and forced. He is perfect in this one. I've grown up with Rocky series and actually felt myself getting emotional at different points of the movie which is awesome.

Was the boxing more realistic in this one? In some of the prior movies it became a lil cartoonish. 100 straight punches to the face.

I expected it to be terrible. On the recommendation of this board and based on its good reviews, I saw it. It was better than I expected (i.e., not terrible). Probably about a 6/10.

You know 6/10 just a notch above average. Would you say 8/10?

Don't care for Michael B Jordan but I might have to check this out anyway.

Very similar to rocky 1 and would say 3rd best in whole series behind 4,3.

I thought it was fantastic... wonderful performance by Stallone and realy enjoyed the more realistic boxing scenes too.
