Well damn. I was hoping they would get James Purefoy (played Marc Antony on Rome).

Just another theory to spark some discussion.
Bloodraven wargs Mormont's raven to protect Jon Snow who is of Targaryen descent (R + L = J).
The raven yells fire multiple times when the wight attacks and flies to Jon's shoulder when the Night's Watch are choosing a new leader.
Bloodraven was loyal to the Targaryens and not the Blackfyres.

I always put Bran in Mormont's raven. He makes the comment at one time that he had never said "Jon Snow" before. Anyway, it could be Bloodraven I suppose.

I think there's definitely something special about that raven. Not sure if someone is warging into him but it's definitely something.
