Could a Sword of Truth movie series be made?

Or does it demand a TV series.
That said, I ignore the miserable Hercules formula-driven Legend of The Seeker series. So bad.
I think it lends itself to movies better than most epic series. Lots of chaff could be trimmed to make 4 or 5 damn strong movies.

I've never read the books, but I actually enjoyed Seeker. I never watched season 2 once I learned it was cancelled though. I guess I need to read the books and learn to hate the show

What? It's widely critically panned. I liked it at first and then I started recognizing all othe things he was blatantly stealing from and then it just got worse. I read some awful fantasy series and I hate this one more than all of them.

I loved the book series through book 6. After that was pretty terrible.
The show was possibly the worst show ever. First, they made Richard 15 years too young. Second, they made Darken Rahl his brother instead of his dad. Wtf? It was absolutely insulting.
I have not enjoyed a single tv series based off of a fantasy series that I read - Sword of Truth, Game of Thrones, and The Shannara trilogy. I'm dreading the planned Wheel of Time series.
