Conan the Destroyer gets a lot of hate for some reason but I really like that one too

because that one goes cheesy. The first one is played straight up. Low budget, but straight up.

This might be risking some downvotes, but Red Sonja is better than Conan the Destroyer.

This thread is making me realize that I have never seen this movie. The movie I always thought was Conan the Barbarian was actually Conan the Destroyer. My childhood now feels incomplete

WTF? How can you see Conan the Destroyer and not have seen Conan the Barbarian? Watch it ASAP and report back.

Conan The Destroyer sucks because it was a completely different style. They totally removed the sex and gore.

Folks on here complain all the time when horror movies are toned down to get a PG or PG13.

Same with Conan. No more fracking oriental sex slaves or witches or hot thieves.

Instead we get Grace Jones.

Just had to rewatch the movie myself...it's just such an incredible feat of moviemaking. I forgot about the orgy scene battle when Conan starts kicking arse and the two snake lieutenants realize Conan is not dead...the music kicks in and then the rest of the movie is like one big festival of arse kicking and epicness. The illusions to the battle of Thermapolae are awesome too at the end.

I've lived my whole life with a hard on for Sandahl Bergman because of this movie.
