The pilot is up on USA app watched last night.

I'll DVR it and check it out when I'm hungover this weekend. The last USA original (Mr. Robot) turned out to be pretty legit.

I have no problem with Prison Break Sarah Wayne Callies, I despise Walking Dead Sarah Wayne Callies.

Prison break she was good. Walking dead she was awful. I was rooting against her just because of walking dead. I need to stop hating her for that haha

First comparison show I thought of....Seems like it will be a lot more gritty and dramatic that Falling Skies (not that such is hard to do)

I don't know, Falling Skies kind of turned me off from these types of shows. If I hear good things about it, I will catch up.

Can't stomach real life Sarah Wayne Callies. When she speaks she sounds like an even dumber Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Falling Skies was pure scifi with multiple alien races. I see that Sawyer got Executive Producer credit so I'm assuming he'll bring his Lost experience into the mix and the aliens will remain shrouded in mystery.
After watching the pilot I think it will be closer to Fear The Walking Dead than Falling Skies. Only unlike FTWD this is an occupation, not an apocalypse, so Colony will not have an event to displace the military. This will be about humans vs. humans, collaborators vs. resistance.

I enjoye dit. Some of the half season critic reviews have me concerned though.
They said it definitely has a huge Lost feel, and as of a half season, nothing was clear and there were far more questions than answers.

Cant imagine this show having nearly as many questions as Lost. I can tell that the audience will most likely be torn between the Resistance and the Insurgency. I love shows with a little mystery.

the pacing was terribly slow in the pilot. nothing seemed interesting to me. it was all just "there." i was sort of interested to see what happened but was not invested in any character. anyone could have died and i would not have cared.
for a pilot, it really did a poor job of "hooking" me. i really wanted to like this show too. i was hoping after the huge success of mr robot (amazing) that USA would want to follow up strong. i doubt this show becomes great.
