So will this be a foreign film remake of an American movie? If so looks like the script has been flipped.

Come on man. Why in the world would this be remade? It's not like this was an effects heavy movie that could benefit from more modern CGI. Plus, they're NOT going to best the original cast.
I consider Memento a near perfect modern classic with a style that was unique. It's just about akin to remaking Jaws.
